Here’s a good idea for a stock photo that I think would look good. Its a macro shot of a meat tenderizer (the pyramidish side), laying horizontally. The shot is angled so the pyramid edges are facing the camera. For maximum effect, a high depth of field is favorable. Here is an example of a meat tenderzier that I had in mind looks like. Not a bad shot to be honsest (quick google result; no affiliation to the photographer)
Here’s what I tried and ended up with.
The problem is I can’t get the depth of field and there’s too much light coming off the metal. These are rough concept shots of what I suspect would make for a good stock photo or maybe a nice image in general.

I like it! My family has a ton of old antique kitchen equipment, I’ll have to drag it out and see what kind of shots I can get! I can’t see your attempt though, my computer has been having issues with images..again thanks for the idea.
